We built Amp Rescue because that felt like a problem that shouldn’t exist anymore.

We bring a mobile EV charger directly to wherever you’re stuck: Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, Knightdale, Garner, or anywhere else in the NC Triangle. No waiting on a tow truck then waiting at a charging station. We pull up, plug in, and provide your electric vehicle with 20 miles.

How It Works

You call or text us at (919) 526-5165. Tell us where you are and what you’re driving. We dispatch to your location with our mobile charging equipment. Depending on your vehicle and how depleted the battery is, we’ll typically have you back on the road within 30 to 45 minutes.

We’ve charged Teslas, Chevy Bolts, Hyundai Ioniq 5s, Ford Mustang Mach-Es, Rivians, pretty much every EV on the road in the Triangle right now. If your car has a charge port, we can work with it.

Why Call Us Instead of a Tow Truck?

Towing an electric vehicle isn’t like towing a gas car. Flatbed tow trucks are more expensive, harder to book on short notice, and the whole process takes longer. Plus you still have to sit at a charging station once you get there.

With Amp Rescue, you skip all of that. We come to you, charge your vehicle on the spot, and you drive away. It’s faster, easier, and costs less than a tow.
